In the days from October 21 to 26, HUST Vietnam carried out calibration and maintenance of GNR's optical emission spectrometer for CanTho Technical Center of Standards Metrology and Quality (CATECH).

CATECH is a unit invested in equipment with modern technology, always applying and updating national and international testing methods (TCVN, Standard methode, ASTM, AOAC ...), so the requirements of assurance High accuracy is an indispensable process. The testing laboratories of the Center have been recognized by VILAS in accordance with the international standard ISO / IEC 17025 from 2001 to the present.

Calibration and maintenance of spectrophotometers is an important task to ensure that the equipment meets the standards and requirements of component testing and analysis for metals - alloys. On that basis, with experience gained at GNR firm, HUST Vietnam is confident to bring the best operation for the device after the calibration and maintenance process. With a nearly 10-year lifespan of a spectrophotometer, difficulties encountered during processing are inevitable. Therefore, HUST Vietnam has been very successful in bringing the device back to a stable state of operation, meeting the requirements of analyzing the chemical composition of metals - alloys for spectrophotometers.
